Fei Wu Fine Art GCSE

Fei has produced four canvasses for her Self-Portrait project, each reflecting a different facet of her life, with an image of her left hand on her violin acting as a constant motif. The first green shadowed background is a chessboard; the next represents art, symbolised by three primary colours; the red shadowed ground is inspired by a painting at Tate Modern called Forms on Grey (Fei wears a lot of grey), and the final purple shadow is the colour of her Chinese passport, her nationality

Ellie Tarff Photography GCSE

Ellie made some fantastic studies of London for her GCSE Coursework project 'Street Life'. She managed to combine a sensitivity for photographing both people and place to make a body of work that highlighted just some of the many contrasts and contradictions of our capital city.

Shirley Wang Textiles GCSE

Shirley has been extending her skills and working on her GCSE portfolio, below are examples of her multi pattern overlays using free machining and also Oil Bar work applied onto fabric through a stencil. All work has been developed from ideas from a recent trip to the Pitt Rivers Museum.
